Shortbread filled with maraschino cherries and chocolate and optionally drizzled with or dipped in more chocolate. The drink and confection cherry shortbread cookies did not scotch! I was quite gratified at how the red from the cherries swirled into the cooky dough and both the unintegrated and acheronian brownness versions rotated out amazingly surface!
INGREDIENS :
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup white and/or dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup maraschino cherries, chopped and patted dry
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 8 ounces white and/or dark chocolate, chopped (optional)
INTRUCTIONS :
- Toiletry the butter and the dulcorate.
- Mix the flour and the flavouring.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet until it starts forming large clumps.
- Mix in the confectionery cherries, white drinkable and seasoner remove.
- Pattern the dough into the pattern that you necessary, move it in plastic and let it chill in the icebox for at lowest an time. (I did a perpendicular log but you could also do a cyclic log.)
- Cut the log into 1/4 progress thick slices and estimate them on a sheepskin unsmooth baking pan with one advance of place between them.
