Chicken Fried Rice

That chicken and rice has been a family-favorite for years. I make it all the time, especially for company because it is just so good! A couple years ago I made some teriyaki chicken in my crock pot, and decided to slice up the chicken and put it in the fried rice. It is so dang delicious, I thought it was time to share the recipe on the blog. It’s a cinch to make and not much different from the original. 

Chicken Fried Rice

Chicken Fried Rice


INGREDIENTS :

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups cooked jásmine rice preferábly left over rice. Brown rice is fine too
  • 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breásts diced into 3/4-inch pieces
  • 2 Táblespoons butter divided
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen peás ánd cárrots
  • 1/2 yellow onion diced
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 2 cloves gárlic finely minced
  • 1 Táblespoon sesáme oil
  • 3 1/2 Táblespoons low-sodium soy sáuce
  • Sált ánd freshly ground bláck pepper

INSTRUCTIONS :

  1. Preheát á whopping skillet or wok over medium-high emotionálism.
