Bacon is usually a winner in our home. and therefore the creaminess and sharpness of the white Cheddar very send this quiche above. i feel the quiche is such an entire dish, perfect. The crust just adds a touch crunch, and therefore the egg filling is soft and cheap.

INGREDIENTS:
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
- 8 eggs
- 1 C milk (I use skim)
- ¼ C minced green onion
- 1 t salt
- 1 t pepper
- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust (I use store-bought)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, onions, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the bacon and cheddar.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust. Place the pie on a rimmed baking sheet to prevent the filling from spilling over into your oven. (Its so much easier to clean a baking sheet than the bottom of your oven!)
- Bake until the quiche is golden and set in the center, about 45 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving
